Referral Business From Networking Events
In any business, referral business is typically the best kind. Referrals are great because they are warm to you as you came as a recommendation from someone they trust. So much of business is based on comfort and trust, and not about price, product or service. Naturally I’ll have to need the service/product, but what separates me from the rest will be a relationship of some kind. Business Networking events are an excellent place to get referrals, but there are plenty of events and plenty of people who will say they’re a waste of time, but they’re doing it wrong.
In a recent interview The 6-Figure Offline Consulting Turning Point James Reynolds spoke very highly of the local business networking events he attends. He gets a lot of referral business from them on a regular basis and has now become apart of the administration of the event!
