Just how much traffic is in videos alone? Here are some statistics from ComScore May 2010:

183 million U.S. Internet users watched online video during the month.
YouTube.com achieved record levels of viewing activity in May with an all-time high of 14.6 billion videos viewed and surpassing the threshold of 100 videos per viewer for the first time.
U.S. Internet users watched nearly 34 billion videos in May, with Google Sites ranking as the top video property with 14.6 billion videos, representing 43.1 percent of all videos viewed online.

The interesting part to all of this is the traffic volume is massive up there with the amount of Google searches per month, but the difference between Google search and Youtube is the amount of options people have. Google Search has 8 billion+ indexed web sites for you to compete with. The total amount of YouTube videos isn’t even remotely close to that, meaning less competition.

Hey James,
This is for creating your own videos to use for marketing yourself, your products, affiliate products. The video portion of SEO Partner is simply to create a little video and syndicate it for backlinks etc. They’re really not comparative items IMO.
This is a full video course for someone wanting to learn how to make great videos and use them for marketing. SEO partner doesn’t show you anything about videos, it just uses them as part of doing search engine optimization.
